Back from the American Royal: What a Weekend

We’re officially back home from the American Royal — and wow, what an experience.
Two days of smoke, competition energy, and meeting some truly incredible people from all over the BBQ world. I picked up new techniques, fresh inspiration, and a deeper appreciation for what these top-tier teams bring to the table.

And yes… it was bitter cold.
California bones were NOT ready for 21° windchill. But the Cherry Anchor crew powered through, cooked hard, and represented the Valley the right way. Grateful for the memories — and even more grateful to thaw out back home.
